The education system is stretched thin, leaving many children with additional needs unable to access the care and support they require. While schools and SEND staff do their best, limited resources mean children often get lost in the system, stuck in unsuitable educational environments. This leaves families, facing overwhelming red tape, confusing forms, and unclear language, leading to frustration and a loss of hope for their child.

I’m here to tell you that there is hope – for you and your family.


I’m Russell Hurst and I have spent most of my career in schools, NHS Trusts and CAMHS, supporting families like yours to navigate the minefield of confusion and complication to ensure that their child is in an educational environment that will unlock their potential and give them a brighter future.

  • Attend meetings with you and SEND staff to
    ensure the EHCP has the right information in it.
  • Research the best education establishments for your child in your area.
  • Help you fill in the forms with the right language to ensure the best outcome for your child.
  • Talk to the LEA on your behalf to access funding streams and better information.
  • Attend your meetings with potential placements to ask the right questions.
  • Be on the end of the phone when you don’t know who to turn to.
